<h2>Terms &amp; Conditions &ndash; Ulven Utleie</h2>

<h3>1. Driving license and age</h3>
<p>The renter must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid category B driving license. If the combined weight of the car and trailer exceeds the category B limit, the renter must hold a valid license for heavier combinations (category BE or equivalent). It is the renter&rsquo;s responsibility to ensure that the trailer&rsquo;s permitted total weight does not exceed what the car and the driver&rsquo;s license allow.</p>

<h3>2. Insurance</h3>
<p>The renter can choose to add insurance at the time of booking:</p>
<ul>
<li>With insurance: deductible up to NOK 3,000 per damage incident.</li>
<li>Without insurance: renter&rsquo;s liability up to NOK 15,000 per damage incident.</li>
<li>Insurance costs NOK 79 per day, capped at NOK 299 per 5-day period. For longer rental periods, a new period is calculated every 5 days.</li>
</ul>
<p>Any repair costs will be documented with an invoice from our external service partner, and the amount will be charged to the payment card used at booking, within the applicable deductible limit.</p>

<h3>3. Use and responsibility</h3>
<p>The renter is fully responsible for the trailer during the rental period, including all damages, breakages, and losses. The trailer must be used responsibly and only for legal purposes. Overloading or misuse is not permitted.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong style="color: #004225;">Boat trailers:</strong> wheel bearings must not be submerged, and the trailer must be rinsed after use.</li>
<li><strong style="color: #004225;">Box/utility trailers:</strong> the trailer must be emptied and returned clean.</li>
</ul>

<h3>4. Photos and video</h3>
<p>The renter must upload photos via the link received by SMS before the rental starts and after the trailer has been returned.</p>
<p><strong style="color: #004225;">Mandatory photos (all trailers):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Front, back, and both sides</li>
<li>Wheels/tires</li>
<li>Jockey wheel</li>
<li>Electrical connector</li>
<li>Safety cable</li>
<li>Interior (applies to box and utility trailers)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong style="color: #004225;">For boat trailers in addition:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Video of rinsing after use</li>
<li>Video of hazard lights/indicators</li>
</ul>
<p>If mandatory photos are not uploaded: fee of NOK 1,500 (covers inspection callout). If damages are discovered during inspection, the deductible applies in addition to the fee.</p>
<p>If additional photos/videos for specific trailers are not uploaded: fee of NOK 1,000 for callout + NOK 500 per missing item. Any repair costs come in addition.</p>

<h3>5. Fees</h3>
<p>Fees will be charged directly to the payment card used at booking:</p>
<ul>
<li>Missing mandatory photos: NOK 1,500</li>
<li>Missing additional photos/videos (boat/box trailers): NOK 1,000 + NOK 500 per item</li>
<li>Box trailer not emptied upon return: NOK 500 + callout fee</li>
<li>Boat trailer not rinsed after use: NOK 500 + callout fee</li>
<li>Late return: NOK 99 per started hour, unless otherwise agreed</li>
<li>Administration fee for handling damage/repairs: NOK 300</li>
</ul>
<p>Fees apply regardless of insurance and are charged in addition to any deductible.</p>

<h3>6. Damages and downtime</h3>
<p>For major damages that require the trailer to be taken out of service, a downtime fee equivalent to the regular daily rental rate per day will apply. The downtime fee is included in repair costs and therefore covered by the deductible limit if the renter has purchased insurance.</p>
<p>In all damage cases, an administration fee of NOK 300 applies for handling, in addition to service partner costs and any applicable deductibles/fees.</p>

<h3>7. Pickup and return</h3>
<p>The trailer must be picked up and returned at the same location, at the agreed time. Delays will incur fees as stated in section 5. The trailer must be returned in the same condition as when picked up.</p>

<h3>8. Disclaimer</h3>
<p>Ulven Utleie is not responsible for any damages or accidents that may occur when using the trailer. The renter is solely responsible for safe use and must always ensure that the trailer is correctly attached and loaded.</p>

<h3>9. Cancellation</h3>

For later cancellations, a fee of 50% of the rental amount will be charged, up to a maximum of NOK 500.</span></p>
