<p><strong>1. General</strong><br />Ulven Utleie wants you as a user to feel confident that we protect your privacy and handle all personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.</p>
<p><strong>2. Personal data</strong><br />To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, phone number, email, and year of birth (minimum age 18). When booking, the rental time, which equipment is reserved, and your order history are also stored.<br />Your data will be kept as long as you are registered as a user. You can edit or delete your information via &ldquo;My Page&rdquo;, or contact us to be deregistered. If deleted, you will lose access to the service until you register again.</p>
<p><strong>3. Sharing of data</strong><br />Ulven Utleie does not sell, trade, or forward personal data to third parties. Online booking is handled in our system provided by Ulven Utleie.</p>
<p><strong>4. Payment information</strong><br />Card information is not stored by us, but handled by our payment provider DIBS (PCI certified). This makes it possible to handle reservations, additional charges (in case of delay or damage), and reduce misuse. Transaction data related to orders are stored as long as you are registered as a user.</p>
<p><strong>5. Use of data</strong><br />We collect both the information you provide (name, email address, etc.) and information related to the use of the service, including which equipment you rent, location data, and technical data about your device. In some cases, this may be supplemented with data from third-party providers.</p>
<p><strong>6. Cookies</strong><br />We use cookies to simplify the use of the service, remember rental dates and equipment, and provide you with relevant information. We also collect technical information through server logs (IP address, operating system, browser version, etc.). This is mainly used for anonymized statistics but may also be linked to your user account to adapt the service to your device.</p>

<p><strong>1. Driver&rsquo;s license and age</strong><br />The renter must hold a valid category B driver&rsquo;s license and be at least 18 years old.</p>
<p><strong>2. Insurance</strong><br />All trailers are insured through Gjensidige. The renter is responsible for the deductible in case of damage (NOK 3,000).</p>
<p><strong>3. Use and responsibility</strong><br />The renter is fully responsible for the trailer during the rental period. The trailer must be used safely and only for legal purposes. Overloading or misuse is not permitted.<br />&ndash; For boat trailers: wheel bearings must not be submerged in water, and the trailer must be rinsed with fresh water after use.<br />&ndash; For box trailers: the trailer must be emptied and returned clean.</p>
<p><strong>4. Photos and video</strong><br />The renter must take photos of the trailer (front, back, both sides, wheels, and inside if applicable) before and after use, and send these to the rental company.<br />A short video must also be recorded to show that the trailer&rsquo;s hazard lights are functioning before and after use.<br />For boat trailers, an additional short video must be recorded showing rinsing after use.</p>
<p><strong>5. Fees</strong><br />Fees will be charged directly to the payment card used for the booking:<br />&ndash; Missing photos before/after rental: NOK 200<br />&ndash; Missing video of lights (indicators/hazard lights): NOK 200<br />&ndash; Missing video of rinsing (boat trailer): NOK 200<br />&ndash; Boat trailer not rinsed after use: NOK 200<br />&ndash; Box trailer not emptied upon return: NOK 400<br />&ndash; Cancellation later than 3 days before rental start: NOK 500<br />&ndash; Late return: NOK 1,000 per day, unless otherwise agreed<br />&ndash; Damaged jockey wheel due to misuse (not fully retracted during driving): NOK 600</p>
<p><strong>6. Pickup and return</strong><br />The trailer must be picked up and returned at the same location, at the agreed time. Delays may result in fees as listed in section 5.</p>
<p><strong>7. Disclaimer</strong><br />Ulven Utleie is not responsible for accidents or damages that may occur while using the trailer. The renter is fully responsible for safe operation.</p>
<p><strong>8. Cancellation</strong><br />Cancellation is free of charge up to 3 days before rental start. Later cancellations will be charged a fee of NOK 500.</p>
